"I saw firsthand from my professors that the overall mission for every Christian leader is to equip the saints for the work of ministry, and that work starts in the hearts of children at KiDs Beach Club.  The Lord continues to do more than we could ever ask or imagine through this ministry."

Jack Terrell ('91) is the President and Founder of KiDs Beach Club, which is an innovative ministry established to mobilize churches to take the message of Christ into the heart of its community. Since its inception in 2003, the Lord has used Jack's ministry to reach over 87,800 children with 8,296 total professions of faith.

"I was challenged by my pastor at FBC Euless to take our Children's Ministry outside the four walls of our church," Jack said. "From that simple challenge, a new after-school ministry was born and we are now partnering with 133 churches in 11 states to hold KiDs Beach Clubs for one hour each week.  Church members partner with a local school to teach Biblical character while showing the love of Christ to school administration, faculty, and parents."

Jack says his time at ETBU was pivotal in preparing him for ministry. "During my time at ETBU, the Lord's plans for my life were made known, and He affirmed my call to ministry," Jack said.
