Are you outgoing and love meeting new people? Maybe you are just interested in helping other students see ETBU for the first time. Or looking for an opportunity to boost your resume! The ETBU Student Ambassadors might be a good fit for you.

ETBU Ambassadors are a group of students who love ETBU and share our excitement with prospective students by giving tours, assisting with Tiger Day and Preview Day events, and spreading school spirit all over campus and in the community!

What to Expect

  • Earn a $1,000 scholarship per semester (must re-apply each semester) and bolster your resume for post-graduation opportunities.
  • Forge meaningful relationships with fellow students through engaging events and activities.
  •  Ability to serve ETBU as a student

As an Ambassador, you'll represent ETBU with pride and authenticity to prospective students and their families. You'll play a vital role in recruitment efforts, sharing your passion for our university and fostering a welcoming environment for future Tigers.

  • Complete application
  • Interview with Admissions staff
  • Letter of recommendation from faculty or staff
Requirements
  • GPA minimum of 2.0
  • Available to provide at least 2 engaging campus tours per week
  • Be familiar with tour script and enjoy hosting prospective, current, and former students
  • Serve in Admissions as a student worker at least 10 hours per week
  • Professional dress required (ETBU Polo/dress pants)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be in good standing with Director of Residence Life
  • Confirmation of up-to-date Chapel credits from the Dean of Spiritual Life
  • Confirmation of no outstanding charges from the Business Office
  • Class schedule should be compliant with the hours needed to work (morning and/or afternoon)
