Lady Tigers & Tigers Win at Ozarks

BASKETBALL (W): CLARKSVILLE, Arkansas (2/11/16) - From the moment when Taylee Alexander scored the first points of the game, the East Texas Baptist University women's basketball team never looked back as they managed a great game for the 63-50 victory over the University of the Ozarks. With the victory, ETBU ups their record to 14-9 and 7-7 overall in the American Southwest Conference East Division.

MNM: Program at Marshall High School to Offer Reduced Cost College Courses Through ETBU

MNM: MARSHALL, Texas (2/12/16) - Beginning this fall, Marshall High School juniors and seniors will be able to become East Texas Baptist University students without ever leaving their high school classroom.

School leaders from both institutions as well as the Marshall ISD Education Foundation joined together Thursday to announce the launch of Maverick University, a program that allows MHS juniors and seniors to earn up to 27 college credit hours while still in high school.

ETBU Athletes Honored This Week

SOFTBALL: MARSHALL, Texas (2/10/16) - East Texas Baptist University softball players Jayme Perez and Lacey Lindsey have earned pre-season awards from HeroSports being named All-Americans to start the 2016 season. Perez has been selected to the first team as a designated player and Lindsey on the second team at first base.

Both players are two-time NFCA All-Americans in their first two seasons at ETBU. Last year they both were NFCA All-American second-team selections while Lacey was the co-Offensive Player of the Year in the ASC. Below are the bios from HeroSports.com
