Theatre Scholarships

Theatre Arts scholarships are available to theatre arts majors. These scholarships are highly competitive and require a formal audition process. In order to receive a theatre arts scholarship, students must meet all the requirements for admission to the University. These scholarships are awarded for eight consecutive semesters assuming students meet the following criteria:

To receive and retain the scholarship, the recipient must sign and return the scholarship certificate within the time-frame indicated, and be a theatre arts major as indicated by enrollment in the specific theatre courses taken each semester as advised by the assigned faculty advisor. The student must participate in all theatre productions each semester as assigned, and must earn a grade point average of 3.0 or above in theatre arts course work commensurate with the requirements of the major each semester of study; and maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or above for all course study at ETBU.

Department scholarships are awarded in consideration of and in conjunction with the selected student’s overall financial aid package at the time they apply to the University. Scholarships are not awarded to students after they have matriculated at ETBU, so please audition prior to enrolling in the University.
