ETBU's Counseling Care Center seeks to be "Jesus with His skin on" for a hurting world through the provision of high-quality intervention, assessment, support, research, and training in counseling and psychological services.
ETBU's Counseling Care Center provides low-cost counseling and psychological services, including therapy and psychological assessment, to the students, faculty, and staff. Counseling services are provided in the center, located in the Jarrett Library building, by a licensed counselor, or practicum and internship students who are being supervised in their clinical training for licensure.

ETBU students are offered free counseling sessions throughout the school year. ETBU Counseling Care Center offers individual therapy, couples or family therapy, and group therapy. Call 903-923-2360 to schedule an appointment.
The following services are provided through the clinicians and trainees at the community center. Professionals are skilled for treatment of students, faculty, and staff. We are also available for individual couples and group counseling. Services are provided contingent upon client request and clinician availability.
Students can meet individually with Joan Strutton, Ph. D., LPC-S and practicum students to address various mental health and personal issues. For students, individual counseling will be provided by Masters of Arts in Counseling interns. Sessions can be scheduled using the hours listed above.
