6th Annual ETBU Tiger Invitational Debate Tournament - an average of 100+ students from 11+ institutions in Texas and 4-5 other states will come to compete for individual and team awards.

Bennett Speech Contest – annual public speaking contest for graduating seniors endowed by Susan Bennett Livingston in memory of her father. Ms Livingston was a Speech Communication major at ETBU encouraging students to inspire audiences through public speaking to live their lives on a higher plane or to persuade audiences to endorse a policy or course of action. Students will compete for prizes.
