Steps to Receive Financial Aid

 Step 2: Accept or Decline Aid


  1. Once you have received an award letter by mail and/or an email to your TigerMail account notifying you that your financial aid is ready, log in to Campus Connect using your email address minus the "" (i.e. email address:, Student ID: john_doe) and the 4-digit pin number emailed with the original notice of financial aid awards.

  2. In the Student Information drop down menu select Accept/Decline aid.  Accept or decline your loans by checking the appropriate box and clicking the submit button.  All gift aid (scholarships and grants) is accepted automatically.  You have now notified the University of your intent to use this aid.

  3. If you accepted your federal loans you must continue to Step 3 to notify the U.S. Department of Education of your intent to borrow.
