MARSHALL, Texas (4/15/15) - The East Texas Baptist University Department of Religion announces "ETBU Preach! Day" on Sunday, April 19, 2015.  Ministry students from the School of Christian Studies will be guest preaching in participating area churches. 

"This will be a great way for our ministry students to gain experience," said Dr. Jennifer Bashaw, Assistant Professor of New Testament. "We are thankful for this partnership between ETBU and East Texas churches because it will serve to develop the gifts of our students and connect them to the ministry God is doing in our area."

MARSHALL, Texas (4/14/15) - The East Texas Baptist University School of Fine Arts presents a concert featuring the University Singers and Guitar Ensemble this Friday, April 17, at 7:00 p.m. The concert will be held in the lobby of The Marshall Grand located in downtown Marshall. Admission is free. 

MARSHALL, Texas (4/14/15) - The Department of Theatre Arts at East Texas Baptist University proudly presents their spring production - Iphigenia 2.0 by Charles Mee. Performances will be in the Black Box Theatre of the Jenna Guest Music Building.  Dates are April 16 at 7:30 p.m., April 17 at 8:00 p.m., April 18 at 7:30 p.m., and April 19 at 2:30 p.m.

MARSHALL, Texas  (4/14/15) -  Each Spring Break thousands of college students invade South Padre Island to enjoy sun, surf and partying. But not all college students come to the beach looking for their next beer or party. This year, 1,060 volunteers engaged in servant evangelism while giving 27,396 car rides and serving 21,000 pancakes during the three week ministry of Beach Reach. 

MARSHALL, Texas (4/10/15) - East Texas Baptist University's oldest, most honored tradition returned for its 68th year on Friday, April 10, 2014, naming the 2014-2015 Senior Girl Call-Out. The ceremony was held on the front lawn of Marshall Hall.
