ETBU 2015 Homecoming, October 23-25

MARSHALL, Texas (10/09/15) - East Texas Baptist University will hold Homecoming 2015 on October 23-25. 

The official start of Homecoming is Friday, October 23, at 10:00 a.m. in Baker Auditorium of the Ornelas Spiritual Life Center. Alumni Awards and the Golden Blazer Ceremony will highlight the gathering of alumni, students, faculty and staff.

ETBU Campus Closed for Fall Break, October 15-16

MARSHALL, Texas (10/14/15) - East Texas Baptist University will close for Fall Break, Thursday, October 15, through Friday, October 16, 2015. Classes will resume and the administration offices will re-open on Monday, October 19th at 8:00 a.m.

Weekend Tiger Athletics: ETBU Earns 9th Sweep of the Year

VOLLEYBALL: JACKSON, Miss. (10/10/15) - Playing for the first time since Tuesday night, the East Texas Baptist University volleyball team claimed a straight-set win at Belhaven University on Saturday afternoon inside of Rugg Arena. Set scores for ETBU were 25-15, 25-15 and 25-6. With the non-conference victory, ETBU pushes to 16-3 overall, while Belhaven slips to 7-13 this season.

ETBU Department of Theatre Arts Presents The Heiress, October 8-11

MARSHALL, Texas (9/30/15) -  East Texas Baptist University's Department of Theatre Arts proudly presents their fall production "The Heiress" by Ruth and Augustus Goetz, based on the novel "Washington Square" by Henry James. Performances of The Heiress are October 8-10 at 7:30 p.m. and October 11 at 2:30 p.m. in the Mabee Recital Hall of the Jenna Guest Music Building located on campus.  All tickets are $5.00 general admission or one free ticket per ETBU ID; no reservations required.

New ETBU Students Serve at Two MISD Campuses

MARSHALL, Texas (10/06/15) - East Texas Baptist University freshmen students saw smiles on many children's faces as they hosted Fall Festivals at two Marshall Independent School District campuses.  The two separate festivals were held at Lee Elementary and South Marshall Stem Academy on Thursday evening, October 1.  

"The children at Lee were so enthusiastic when they saw the ETBU students setting up the fair. They had so much fun playing the games and winning prizes and candy," said ETBU Great Commission Director Dr. Lisa Seeley.
