Centennial Hall construction has begun! The 362 bed, 123,500 square foot student living-learning community is scheduled to open in August 2014.The facility will primarily house freshman and sophomore students but will have upperclassmen suites as well. The amenities planned for the facility include private bedrooms in 4 bedroom/2 bathroom suites, study areas, seminar rooms, game rooms, and indoor and outdoor social areas. A faculty-in-residence apartment will also be located in the new facility.
“This is a project that will advance the mission of ETBU into the new century by building on the core strengths of the University while helping us attract and retain even more students,” said Dr. Dub Oliver, ETBU President.
The living-learning community will be located on the site bordered by Rainey Street to the north, Tiger Drive to the west, East Avenue to the south, and east of the Ornelas Spiritual Life Center.
