One way that we seek to help our students grow in faith and maturity is through service.

Our Students are Prepared to Excel

The tradition has been established.

Last year our students in the Model U.N. program won Best Delegation at the fall conference in Chicago. This is an international event in which our students competed against schools like Yale, Notre Dame, and Baylor.

In the last four years we have had two students win best history paper at the national Alpha Chi Conference. Another won a $2500 scholarship there for his efforts.

At a more local level, last year, our graduates who took the certification tests to teach scored an average of ten percentage points higher than the average for universities in Texas. In some domains the margin was almost 25%.

Our students have gone on to excel in graduate schools across the country, including Harvard, Columbia, and Valparaiso.
