FRESHMAN: Freshman status is given to students who have completed high school/GED requirements and who have not attended college on a full-time basis, although college hours may have been earned through dual credit, AP exams, or summer course work. Acceptance is based on ACT - 18 or above (excluding writing); or SAT - 860 or above (excluding writing); or graduation in top 30% of class from an accredited high school.

TRANSFERS: Transfer status is given to any student who has attended college after graduating from high school or obtaining a GED. Transfer students with less than 24 transferable hours must also meet admissions standards for freshmen students — see above. Students who have attended ANY college must have official transcripts from each college sent to the ETBU Admissions Office.

Scholarship Information
This scholarship is offered to students who demonstrate Christian leadership qualities. Please indicate any involvement in the following ministries and list information under each area for ETBU to determine the level of scholarship for which you may qualify. Please be very specific with the information and provide documentation if needed. If additional activities are completed after this application is submitted, you may send updated information to the Admissions office. Describe any leadership position you have held in your church.

List and describe any leadership training you have completed. This may include AWANA, evangelism, Bible study (certificate program), etc. Please provide any documentation of completed programs and/or awards received.

This may include, but is not limited to, benevolent community programs, mission trips (both foreign and domestic), or other church progams of ministering and service.



Please provide the following in case clarification and/or verification of Christian Leadership Information is needed:

A.I.M. (Advancement in Ministry) Scholarship (This scholarship requires a separate application) - Student must be a member of a Baptist Church and called to church-related ministry. There are specific criteria for eligibility and renewal which are listed on the application. Applications are available through the Spiritual Development office (903)923-2173.

I consent to the release of information concerning my academic and/or financial status to scholarship donors. I understand that if any information on this form is found to be inaccurate or incomplete, it will be sufficient cause for rejection or dismissal. I agree that if my student account, for any semester enrolled, becomes delinquent and all methods of collection have been exhausted by the University, my account will be turned over to a third party collector and I will be responsible for all collection and legal fees.
