The Right Click Context Menu
What is the Context Menu?
The openCMS context menu is accessed when you right click a file or folder within the openCMS work place. It has a variety of functions some of which change depending on the context. Here you see the basic context menu.
Lock: Used to lock, unlock or steal a lock on a file or folder. Grants you owner ship of the file while you are using it. Locking a file shows everyone that you are using the file and to not edit it while you are using it.
Edit Page: This option can be used to bypass the direct edit step and edit the file inside of the workplace. It also is the exclusive way to edit structured content.
Copy: This option will let you copy a single resource or entire folder as a new resource or sibling.
Rename/Move: This lets you rename or move a folder or resource to a new location.
Delete: Allows you to delete a folder or file.

Permissions: This is an administrator function and can not be used by others.
Change Navigation: This option allows you to change the nav text.
Advanced: See Below
History: This will allow you to retrieve past published versions of the resource at the expense of deleting the current version.
Properties: This allows you to edit the title, nav text, description and key words of a resource.
Relations

Link relation to ... : Lists files that this file links to.
Link relation from ...: Shows files that this file is linked from.
Show siblings: If there are siblings to the file, this option will list them and their locations.
Assign Categories: This is unused.
Advanced

Edit source code: Allows you to edit the source code that controls a page.
Touch: Marks a page as if it has been edited.
Availability: Admin Use
Secure/Export: Admin Use
Change type: Allows you to change the type of the file; E.G. a folder to an image gallery.
