Anthony Robinson is Adjunct Instructor of Percussion at ETBU. Prior to this position, he was Percussion Coordinator/Band Director in Marshall for twenty five years and Director of Bands/Fine Arts Coordinator for five years before retiring in July of 2007. As an active professional, Mr. Robinson has performed for over thirty seasons as percussionist with the sympony orchestras of Shreveport, Longview, Texarkana, and South Arkansas. He is the Principle Percussionist and Assistant Conductor of the Marshall Symphony Orchestra.
Mr. Robinson received his undergraduate degree from Northwestern State University of Nachitoches, Louisiana, and his Master's degree from East Texas University (now Texas A&M at Commerce).
His percussion instructors were the late Dr. John Raush, Mr. Eddie Kozak of Kozak Music Studio, the late Milton Jackson, and Don Keipp.
