Leadership Fellows


The Leadership Fellows Program is designed to help accelerate your leadership skill-building while you are at ETBU. Leadership Fellows are selected during spring of their freshman or sophomore year and receive:

  • practical coaching during their first semester in a campus leadership position
  • unique opportunities for leadership development through education, skill-building workshops, and community service
  • the opportunity to assist in planning IGNITE, the spring leadership retreat

In addition, each year the ten most outstanding incoming leadership fellows receive:

  • a $1000 scholarship ($500 per semester) renewable for 2 additional years.

Program Requirements

  • Attendance at IGNITE, the spring leadership retreat
  • Accumulation of Leadership Learning Credits through attendance at campus leadership events
  • Serve in a major campus leadership position during at least one semester of sophomore or junior year (officer in campus or academic organization, team captain, ministry project coordinator, BSM leadership team, RA, Leadership Coach, etc)
  • During senior year, serve as mentor for first-year fellows
  • Maintain cumulative GPA of 2.8 while in program

Application Process

  • Submit Online Application (available after November 1) by February 1
  • Candidate Interviews during February - March
  • Leadership Fellows Named by April 1
