Personal Statement

I graduated from ETBU Nursing in May 2011 and took my dream job on a high-risk labor and delivery unit.  My love for women's care exceeds anything that I could explain.  I find incredible joy caring for women and their growing families.  Nursing is an honor and one of the things in my life that I will forever be thankful for.  When I joined the ETBU Nursing team in 2012, I stepped into a completely new and exciting role.  I never thought anything could be more fulfilling than my love for obstetrics - until I met the students.  My heart will always be women's care but I absolutely love being with students.  My husband and I have been married for 3 years and Marshall is now our home.  We love life together.  I love to curl up on the couch with a good movie.  I am so grateful that I get to come back to ETBU where my love for nursingbegan.  God has great things in store for our program.
