The Vision of the School of Natural and Social Sciences is to utilize the philosophy and methods of science to promote understanding of how the physical world is composed and related to the properties and behaviors of plant, animal, and human life. Students are challenged to integrate the logic of rational certainty with the logic of faith and conviction.

With this vision in mind, each year the School of Natural and Social Sciences hosts a Student Research Forum, in which students from each department present their current research to the faculty and student body. Each year poster presentations are given, and 3 to 5 students are selected to give oral presentations of their research projects.
