Dr. Fairweather is married to his wife, Carol. They have two sons, Brian and Danny, and one daughter, Susie (Baxley). They also have two grandsons and one granddaughter. Dr. Fairweather sponsors the ETBU Collegiate Chapter of the American Marketing Association, encouraging students in national competition. He also sponsors regional competition in Business Ethics. Dr. Fairweather, along with his wife, Carol, enjoys travel and has taken students on several trips to various parts of Europe and Korea.
One of his favorite Bible verses is Isaiah 40:31, “But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary and they shall walk and not faint.”
Dr. Fairweather joined ETBU in 2012.
