Student Events

Student Activities at East Texas Baptist University allows students to enhance their personal, social and spiritual lives through participation in a number of campus programs. Individuals can plan, organize and participate in social events that contribute to the development of interpersonal relationships, leadership qualities, and an overall sense of purpose for the members of our University community.

ETBU offers students the opportunity to get involved on campus through events and activities sponsored by Student Activities and the Student Activity Board (SAB).

Students interested in planning campus events and activities should join the Student Activities Board. The SAB meets every Thursday at 5pm in OSLC - Edwards. Contact Blair Prevost at bprevost@etbu.edu for more information. The SAB was established to provide ETBU with a diversity of cultural, educational, recreational, and social programs.

Student Activities works to bring well-known artists to campus each year. Information regarding these concerts will be available in numerous locations. If you have a favorite musical group or artist you would like to see on campus, contact Blair Prevost at bprevost@etbu.edu.

Annual events held on campus include , Movie nights, Homecoming, Senior Girl Call Out, the Welcome Back Party, and a host of other smaller events.

Spirit Events also occur throughout the year in support of the athletic teams. Students may join Blue Crew to show their support of the Tigers! Be ready to cheer in the loud section!

Joining an ETBU Organization is one of the best ways to get involved on campus and meet others! SGA and Student Organizations provide events including Fall Formal, Miss ETBU, Retreats and much more.

GPS- mini pumpkins

Residence Life provides events including Craft-A-Palooza , Linebery Java Jam, Fry Chili Cook Off, Ornelas Movie on the Hill, Fabulous Feagin/Fry Fun Frenzy, and University Apartments Drive In Movie.
