MARSHALL, Texas (3/2/13)- The East Texas community is invited to attend the next Leadership Café gathering on the campus of East Texas Baptist University on Monday, March 4, at 8:00 p.m. in the Huffman Activities Area of the Ornelas Student Center. Greg Grubb, Director of PATH (People Attempting to Help) in Tyler and retired president and co-owner of Texlan Oil Company, will be the guest speaker.
"Greg will be discussing his experiences in leadership, especially the similarities and differences between leading in business and non-profit organizations,” said Dr. Emily Prevost, ETBU Director of Leadership Development.
PATH in Tyler has been serving Smith County residents for 25 years through their five steps on the PATH Out of Poverty. Their five step approach provides assistance with dignity to individuals in poverty.
"Church members and leadership, leaders of service organizations, and entrepreneurs will all find common points of interest with Greg and will be encouraged in their leadership within the community as they listen to his story,” added Dr. Prevost.
Leadership Café is free to attend. Further information call 903-923-2074.
