ETBU’s Dr. Eric Thomas Presents Faculty Recital on February 21th

MARSHALL, Texas (2/08/13) - The East Texas Baptist University School of Fine Arts announces baritone Eric Thomas will present a faculty recital on Thursday, February 21, at 7:30 p.m. The recital by Dr. Thomas, Associate Professor of Music, will be held in the Mabee Recital Hall of the Jenna Guest Music Building on the ETBU campus. The recital is free and the public is invited to attend.

Dr. Thomas has performed with opera companies and symphony orchestras throughout the United States and Europe. As part of Dr. D. James Kennedy’s ministry for four years, he appeared regularly on television on "The Coral Ridge Hour.”

Performing with Dr. Thomas will be soprano Kathleen Den Bleyker-Thomas, trumpeters Doug Lockard and Mark Crim, and pianist Sharon Henning.

Dr. Thomas has served on the faculty at ETBU since 2009 and also serves as the Music Director and Conductor of the Shreveport Chambersingers.
