MARSHALL, Texas (11/20/12)- Sodexo, Inc., the dining services provider for East Texas Baptist University, presented ETBU President Dr. Dub Oliver and first lady, Susie Oliver, with a tea set recently. The tea set matches the new Presidential china that was used during the Centennial Gala held in October.
"Sodexo wanted to do something special for the Olivers and the University to commemorate this special Centennial year,” said Christine McIntosh, Sodexo General Manager at ETBU. "We also wanted to show our appreciation for our partnership and their constant support.”
The gift from Sodexo included a teapot with lid, matching sugar container, creamer, and two cups with saucers. The tea set was presented on a gold serving tray.
"We are grateful for the partnership we have had and continue to enjoy with Sodexo. The tea set will be an ongoing reminder of that partnership, and of the excellence for which Sodexo and ETBU are known,” remarked Dr. Oliver.
The ETBU Sodexo staff, Paul Kakanis, Catering Manager; Amber Dortch, Retail Manager, Doug Benner, Chef and Production Manager; Kristi Wolov, District Manager, and McIntosh presented the gift to the University in the Office of the President on November 13, 2012.
