Itinerary:

Healthcare search (May 6-9)
Students complete an inventory of healthcare facilities in hometown

Quito (May 10-17)
Fly from Dallas to Quito
Consular briefing on state of healthcare in Ecuador
Tour hospitals, clinics, other health facilities; see historic/cultural sites
Attend local Baptist Church

Patate and rural towns (May 18-27)
Explore and observe rural healthcare system
Survey the general health condition of residents in the sample area
Conduct health fair
Partner with local churches to conduct VBS

Quito (May 28-29)
Debrief and summarize activities; visit cultural sites; shopping

Return to Dallas (May 30)
