Meet our Staff!

Director of International Education

Alan is from Texas and graduated from ETBU with a degree in Mathematics. He has lived overseas in several countries including China, the Philippines and Taiwan. He also has taught in the high school and was a soccer coach for many years. He also completed a Masters degree from the University of Texas at Tyler. He has been happily married to his wife, Sheryl, since 1979, and has three grown children. In 1991 he became the International Director at ETBU where he served for 7 years. The, after serving another 7-year stint as a strategist for the North American Mission Board in Atlanta, Georgia, Alan returned to ETBU in the Summer of 2005 to again direct International Education at ETBU.  He really enjoys working with international students and is dedicated to helping them find their place at ETBU while getting an education.

Tiffany is from West Texas, and she has lived in Mississippi, West Virgina, and Louisiana over the course of her childhood.  She followed in her dad's footsteps to ETBU and graduated with a degree in Sociology on December 19, 2009. Tiffany loved having international roommates while she was a student and was involved with the international program during that time.  She went to China in May of 2009 with a Travel/Study course her senior year and hopes to go back one day!  After graduation, Tiffany worked in different local venues until she was asked to come on board with the ETBU family.  She serves both in the International Department and the Office of the Registrar at ETBU. She, her husband, Ben, and puppy, Charlie, currently live in Marshall.
