Step 3: Finalize Loans
  

New Borrowers

• If you have elected to borrow Federal Loans (Subsidized/Unsubsidized), you are required to complete Entrance Loan Counseling and sign a Master Promissory Note (MPN). Parent borrowers using the Parent PLUS Loan are also required to fill out an MPN, but do not have to complete Entrance Loan Counseling.
• The U. S. Department of Education will serve as your lender for the loan, rather than a bank or other financial institution. You will be asked to log in using your FAFSA pin number. Please note: if completing an MPN for a Parent PLUS Loan, your parent must log in using the parent pin number from the FAFSA.

Exiting Students

• Upon leaving ETBU you are required to complete Exit Loan Counseling before a transcript can be released. To complete the counseling, choose one of the options below.

Private Loans
