If approved, Sallie Mae will either mail you a Promissory Note or direct you to a website to complete your Promissory Note online. If you choose to have Sallie Mae mail you a Promissory Note, you will need to sign and return it to Sallie Mae.

Please note that the lender may hold out origination fees up to 4% of the amount borrowed.

If denied, we will receive a denial from Sallie Mae and your student would be eligible for additional Unsubsidized Stafford funds.
