Federal Parent PLUS Loan
The federal Parent PLUS Loan is a loan taken out in the parent’s name to help pay for a dependent’s educational cost. Note: a credit check is part of the application process. If approved, the U. S. Department of Education will direct you to a website to complete your Promissory Note online. The Promissory Note must be in the parent’s name.
Please note that origination fees may be held out of your loan.
If denied, we will receive notification from the U. S. Department of Education and your student would be eligible for additional Unsubsidized Stafford Loan funds.
