East Texas Baptist University seeks to fill a full-time career-track position in English for fall 2013. Instructional responsibilities will include teaching composition and literature, as well as upper-division courses within the English major. This position will provide academic advising for departmental majors and serve on University committees. |
| Requirements: |

Candidates should have an earned doctorate in English, training and experience in teaching both composition and literature, a record of successful teaching at the collegiate level, and the ability to incorporate technology into the composition classroom. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a record of professional involvement, the desire to teach in a Christian liberal arts institution, a strong commitment to academic rigor and teaching, the ability to communicate well with students and colleagues, and must demonstrate a personal Christian faith. ETBU faculty members are expected to participate in the life of the University via faculty meetings/workshops and by participating in/attending student activities and events. |
