Christmas in the Quad

Christmas in the Quad is an event co-sponsored by Student Foundation and the Student Activites Board. Held around the 1st of December each year, Christmas in the Quad is a time for students and alums to gather and celebrate the Birth of Jesus Christ. Three days before the event a large Christmas Tree is installed on the quad and the students are invidted to craft handmade ornaments to decorate the tree. The night of the event, the tree is lighted and Dr. Oliver is charged with reading the Christmas story. At varisous spots in the Christmas Story the students sing Christmas Carols while enjoying a multitude of sweet treats provided for the event.
