Scholars' Forum

The Center for Excellence in Christian Scholarship hosts three Scholars Forums each semester as we seek to encourage and strengthen each other by promoting thoughtful dialogue on the intersection of faith and learning. To learn more about Scholars Forum, contact cecs@etbu.edu.

Spring 2013 Scholars Forum

Theme: Intersection of Faith & Discipline

In April of 2012, the CECS awarded grants to four ETBU faculty members in an effort to examine the integration of faith and discipline. By participating in the "Intersection of Faith and Discipline" grant, recipients were asked to design an instructional model for examining the intersection of faith, disciple and application outside the classroom and/or outside the regular limitations of classroom discourse. The Spring 2013 Scholars Forum will serve as an opportunity for these grant recipients to reflect upon and share their experiences with the ETBU community.
